Red House was designed and built by Timberpeg with a nod to the style of 1920's Lake Sunapee architect Prentice Sanger. A dramatic 2 story great room provides the focal point for gatherings large and small. Distinctive fieldstone fireplaces warm the great room and cozy first floor den. The kitchen is set up to feed several kids on bar stools or cater a large function. Informal and more formal dining rooms expand and contract to accomodate. The second floor wrap around interior balcony provides access to 4 large bedrooms each with outdoor balconies and en suite or shared baths. Space above the garage can serve for exercise and in-law or au paire suite or an upstairs media space. Hip roofs with dormers and a beaded ceiling contribute light, sunshine and space. Lowest level offers 2 dorm rooms full of bunk beds, a media, game and entertainment area and lots of storage. The exterior is wrapped with open porches and large screen porches on either side. Flagstone patio 293' shoreline.
