What mobile platforms does WellcomeMat support?Back to Top
Currently WellcomeMat only supports the iPhone 3GS because it is the first iPhone that allows you to shoot videos. We intend to support as many platforms as possible, but do not wish to enslave ourselves to platforms that do not have momentum on the application side of things.
The next application to be released is our Blackberry application but we do not know specifically when this will occur.

iPhone 3GS - Tips on Shooting & Posting VideosBack to Top
The following is a list of ideas and tips that will help you to successfully post videos via our application. There are a couple of "gotchas" to avoid, so read the following list to save yourself some trouble:
1) When Shooting Video(s), Hold Your iPhone Horizontally with the Home Button on the Right Side as Shown in the Following Picture. Doing this will post your videos without stretching/squishing the image to fit within the constraints of our video player. Translation: your videos will playback at higher quality!
2) It's Better to Shoot Your Videos First and then Open WellcomeMat's Application to Post/Upload Your Videos. iPhones have a glitch in their system that makes it impossible to save videos shot from within an application to your camera roll. If you choose to "Record New Media" from within WellcomeMat's App, your videos will not be found within your camera roll after you post your vidoes. Therefore, if a video fails to upload etc, you will have no recourse. To alleviate this issue, follow these steps:
Shoot Your Videos > Open WellcomeMat's App > Select "Select Existing Media" > Post Your Video via Your Camera Roll
