To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Tre Rudig and I am the sole proprietor of YOUDIGRUDIG MEDIA, an independent freelance and contract graphic, web design and video production outfit.
My focus is to work with clients to create great design oriented, navigation friendly and fast-loading static websites, focusing on client’s branding and messaging needs. I am proficient in HTML, Photoshop, ImageReady, Illustrator and Dreamweaver. The sites I design have compelling design aspects, meet client’s needs and look professional. I also work closely with a team of business associates to involve maximum SEO and marketing strategies if requested (see www.fabricmedia.net). I am currently looking to build a list of clients as I recently began this solo venture after working in the internet television field for the past four years. You can review my website for portfolios including web, graphic design, and video production reels at www.youdigrudig.com.
A little about my background: I earned a Master’s Degree from the University of Denver in 2004 in the field of Digital Media Studies before becoming employed full-time as the webmaster at maniatv.com, an internet television company. I worked as the webmaster constantly updating the site, creating new pages, graphics packages and maintaining the site. Not only did I work as webmaster for eight hours a day, I then hosted shows on air for another four hours. As it turned out, over time there was a growing need for a Live Channel Director position and the CEO of the company recommended that I apply for the position. Subsequently, after writing a fourteen page proposal on changes and improvements to programming, I was offered the position. As Live Channel Director, I maintained a number of the above mentioned responsibilities as well as wrote, produced and hosted my own one hour program on the network. I maintained all of these roles for over a year until company needs became more demanding and I resigned from my on-air duties to focus solely on my managerial duties and subsequently was promoted to Executive Producer and management status this past August.
As Executive Producer, I was responsible for conceptualizing, writing, producing and executing high level accounts for blue chip clients. The following are examples of production projects I have lead for such Blue Chip advertisers as: Victoria’s Secret PINK PJ Party (one hour television special), Mazda 3, CBS Pirate Masters, New Balance, Jeep, Nikon, JVC Camcorder, Hyundai, True.com, Old Spice and Sony. Producer reels are available via links on resume.
As Executive Producer of maniaTV, I lead a team of 40, overseeing production of 12 original shows, managing all producers, talent, editors, photographers and sponsor integration across the network. I worked closely with all departments in the company to ensure that deliverables for web operations, marketing and creative are delivered on time, if not early. I was responsible for quality assurance and maintaining a high standard of original content and client integration.
maniaTV continues to grow and expand and recently opened a studio in the Los Angeles area and moved production facilities there. This is the reason I have great interest in exploring the possibilities with you. Although I am supportive of maniaTV’s production move and future successes, I am remaining in Colorado as this is where I have built my life including purchasing an apartment in downtown Denver last year.
I have experience in the fields of television producer, graphic and web designer and have maintained and have created and maintained several websites on a freelance basis over the course of my time with maniatv.com. I am a self-starter, fast learner, and accept no less than the highest standard of quality and creativity when leading projects for company goals. I would love to meet with your team to discuss employment and how we can best create successful ventures for all.
