On July 25th the Escapes condos in Orange Beach, Alabama auctioned off 31 of 48 condos before closing the auction. The prices were in the $150 per square foot range, somewhat below expectations. The condo fees starting at $1,150 per month may have had some impact. There were 197 registered bidders from 13 states generating over $12 million in sales volume. (more)
