Perry Payne has real estate in her blood. "My grandfather John Payne was the best broker I've ever known. He was ethical, honest, knowledgable - a real southern gentleman." Perry serves as Senior Warden of St. Michael's Church and chairs its Buildings Committee, and sits on her Washington Heights co-op's Board as its President. She has rehabilitated a cabin in historic Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania, and is also licensed as an associate broker in Pennsylvania.

In her spare moments, Perry is also a New York based singer, actress, and writer. Her performance in Keith Thompson's Kooky Tunes (off-Broadway) led InTheatre Magazine and Show Business Weekly to name her one of the top ten funniest performers in New York cabaret. She also appeared as Sylvia Fine--Danny Kaye's power diva wife--in Danny and Sylvia: A Musical Love Story off-Broadway. Her holiday novelty single, Santa Claus Won't Get Lit Up (At the Trailer Park Gate This Year), is played around the country at Christmastime, and has been featured in Billboard Magazine as a Top Ten Holiday Song for much of the last decade.
