This one will go down in the history books!  I got a call from a client the other day extremely upset about the fact that the video tour she paid for that I produced had now been replaced by ANOTHER type of tour from a company called VHT with MY PHOTOS and VHT taking credit for it.  I had no idea what she was talking about.  After pulling up the tour on Realtor.com and the local listings services, I began to make the calls to VHT who told me that they had "struck" a deal with Prudential Georgia Realty to provide them virtual tours for all their agents.  When I explained they were committing copyright infringement and also had replaced my tour with theirs, their only explanation was "well the VP of Marketing is who you will need to deal with" and "yes, we have a little glitch about the replacing of everyone's virtual tours".    This one is absolutely mind blowing.

Hi Sherry,

I am with Prudential and yes VHT has had some start up problems. They have shut off the feature that overwrites existing tours for now, but will start this up again shortly. Each agent has the ability to go in to their account and turn off this feature. When you do a tour for an agent, ask them to do this. Crazy world we live in isn't it?

Thanks Peter.  I just wish they would have figured this out BEFORE they started doing this.  Unfortunately, this "glitch" has caused me countless hours of reloading for my clients.  The problem I see is that none of my Prudential clients were aware this was going to happen.  It would have been prudent for Tony Floyd and his staff to make the agents aware that this was coming and that there was an "opt out" feature.  I love my Prudential clients..just not so happy with the Prudential's VP of Marketing and his department.  This could have been handled better I believe.
