I'm now regularly misspelling the word Welcome - everywhere!

Pissing me off.....  Thanks guys for adding that extra "L"!

Yep. In fact, I at one time considered 'editing' public property (signs, etc.) to reflect this change. Should be a global thing, I agree.

Guess we should say... 'You're wellcome!'

I've not yet caught myself typing wellcome (2 "L"s) anywhere where I meant welcome (1 "L").  Hopefully adding a comment here won't jinx me.

Anyway ... so Christian, what is the actual story on the 2 L vs. 1 L in the company/domain name?  Is it something as simple as the 1 L domain name already being claimed / used when you started up the site?

I spelled it with two 'l's the other day.  That being said, when is Apple going to add the spell checker to FCP??????

Evidently Google is having a problem with it as well.  Found this tonight.

Fred, the link you provided, http://img32.yfrog.com/i/picture1yo.png/ , landed on a page whose content seemed to be the image below.  I'm missing the connection to this welcome vs. wellcome thread.  Or did you accidentally provide the wrong link URL?

I think he is referring to the misspelling of Googlle which Google did just recently on their site

It apparently was done to celebrate year two of Google, as in GOOG11E:)
