Become the local expert......for instance my upcoming sessions to be presented to agents locally is Web 2.0 - Re-Think Your Marketing Strategy. 

Honestly ......It is easy and a bit cheesy to criticize the real estate agent who doesn't know how to take advantage or use these tools when in reality many simply don't know where to start or how it all ties together.

So....WALA! perfect opportunity.....in fact companies like Top Producer who just called our real estate offices this week try to come in to the door under the guise of educating the agents on Social networking. 
However I can tell you for certain that video even compared to products like Top Producer is simple to sell to agents, but you can 't simply say trust me it works because you say so....instead prove it.  Become the expert, find other agents using it successfully then tie it all together with FB, Twitter, Blogspot, Wellcomemat, Posterous, Youtube, etc. then present it free to offices. 

The ole' trying to build a business by hiding behind flyers, or a new feature and postcards or emails to grow is 1/50 as effective as a real person out front becoming the local expert.  Top Producer has used this "education" model for years to grow. 
Specifically your presentations should focus on a much broader topic like Web 2.0 and how these tools as well  as video can be easily implemented into that agents strategy. 

Really care about the agents in your marketplace and find ways to assist them in making more money and your business will by that very nature of yours succeed as well.

 Thanks for the tips Mark!  I've been thinking about this as well... I've started creating a training program about real estate marketing- just started a couple weeks ago... I'll let you know how it goes. :)

I couldnt agree more! It is frightening to see how "uneducated" most agents are regarding technology. Yet the sell multi million $$ homes to tech savvy people who uses the internet/social networking.

I found that partnering with my local Real Estate Association has been the best strategy to get my foot in the door.  They now see me as the expert and I'm invited to speak at any event that has Video and Internet Marketing on the agenda.
