Hope to see you there.
I hope someone makes a video of the video experts! The pressure will be on to ensure its a good one.
Good point Laura. I believe Mark filmed a few of the panels and we should have video from Co-Founder Christian Sterner's panel live soon. I'll post a link once it's up online. Thanks!
Hello Laura!
As promised... here is a link to the video from Christian's Inman Connect panel, “The Art of Storytelling”
But How do you Tell a Story in Real Estate using Quality Filmmaking? #icny
Cheers!
To be honest, I expected a little bit more out of this. Was this the entire panel discussion? Nothing from Fred, Mark or Amy?
This was one of several sessions (panels) that took place over the course of the 5 hour video track. We only recorded video of our sesssion. Sorry!
Mark, do you have any other videos?
And Laura, unfortunely they were only slotted for a 25 minute session. The time constraits led Marc to focus mostly on questions from thr crowd.
No, it was a rather constraining format with very different panelists all put into a very short timeslot that only allowed for very brief insights into each of our specialized positions in the process.
You can get alot more with a Saturday morning phone call to me :). I love talking video!
On the Monday before however, I presented in 3 different sessions at RainCamp and found that to be very productive. Albeit there is still a sense that nobody is quite sure of where the 'hockey stick' growth is going to happen for real estate video. So most of these sessions are structured to be broad stroked in an attempt to cover all the possible options.
So until some 'real estate video' model reveals itself that fits the realities of today's market(price/efficiency/workflow/effectiveness) better I suspect we won't see rocket(viral/hockey stick) growth nor focused really specific "this is what you gotta do" video presentations.
Mark
But Mark... that's what panels are for right? If we gave everyone all the answers they'd never come back! Jokes aside, I agree with your sentiments. The sessions were more theoretical than educational. Thanks for getting back so quickly!
