Pro customers now have access to WellcomeMat's file management system. This means that there is a "Download Original" link next to each video in the "Video Manager" section of the site.

This tool is particularly useful for people that are managing clients on WellcomeMat. Once you transfer videos, your clients can grab files for whatever their purpose might be. Of course, now you won't have to be at your computer to find your files (they are all right here on WellcomeMat!).

Enjoy!

Does that mean if my client has a "Pro" account, they will be able to access all their videos for download (the original.mp4 or whatever format), even after I upload it and transfer it to their account?

...Awesome!  I had a client call me this morning asking me to email the file so she could use it in a presentation where she wouldn't have internet access... I was out meeting clients and couldn't take it to her (and certainly couldn't email it).  If she signs up on Pro, she'd be able to download the original file...

Wow!  This will be a great selling point for me to get clients up on Pro accounts (I've been telling them because they get custom video widgets with THEIR branding, but that wasn't good enough.  This is awesome!

That's right Dustin...glad you like the new tool! Your clients can use the platform as an archive.

I wish I could take credit: I just annoyed David Overcash long enough to build it in.

Excellent!  Now if only the producers were able to transfer a COPY to clients, so that we can still have our videos in our lists without having to re-upload.....please.....please....

I agree with Ray and Dustin...please? I mean....ummm....why you guys looking at me?

In all seriousness guys, I feel your pain on this one, more than you might know. I am going to forward this to our dev team because I've been making a case for a long while on this side. To our dev team's defense, they have to completely rebuild a portion of our platform (believe it or not) to make this happen in the best way. Simply put, we don't want to ever put a band aid on something - if we make a move, we do it right.

Thanks Christian!  Tell your dev team we love them (or maybe they'll see this themselves?)! :D

I'm still recommending the Mat to everyone (I've even mentioned some of the awesome features you have now on Pro accounts, at least one person was interested).  How do you guys pay for everything with only $20/month from each pro member?  Are there really that many pros right now?

Anyway, not really my business... I'll just keep promoting you (and as video starts catching on, I know my investments here will come back to pay me too).  Keep it up!

Dustin,

We are have some really great partnerships with large brokerages and other leading real estate companies such as ForSaleByOwner.com. We have been primarily focused at creating relationships/partnerships at the enterprise level, but are also pretty psyched on making the Pro service more and more valuable.

Both levels of service are growing nicely (Pro subscription revenues were up 29% last month alone), but we won't be happy until we have a complete and utter explosion on our hands. Fuse is lit....

hehe... no worries.  When you go to "Manage Videos" on the Dashboard menu, it's one of the options on the right side under "Edit/View" "Transfer to Client" etc.  I think it's the bottom option.

Dustin, thanks. I see it but not on all my listings, for example, the last two listings I uploaded do not have the "Downlaod Original" as an option.... Strange.

Thanks again for your help...

Aaron,

As an FYI...files will not be immediately available for download. We have a storage process that they go through and they are not available for download until the last step.

If you don't see your files ever come available, that would be a problem that we'd definitely like to hear about at support@wellcomemat.com

Thanks!!
