Hi all,

Shopping for insurance. just wondering what kind of coverage you all might or might not have and  what you paid for it.  just called a local broker and they quoted me over $500.  Seems kind of high.  Don't have more details yet, the proposal is in the mail.

I am a 1 man show doing real estate video tours.

Thanks in advance

John

You might check out Hill and Usher.  They specialize in photographers.  Don't forget about insuring your gear as well if someone breaks in and steals your stuff.

Mine is through New Hamphire Ins Company 800-588-7518. They maybe able to give you a better rate than $500 - a lot depends on your location - I pay $325 - but I live in a small college town. Hppe this helps! -Aaron

I have mine through American Family... though my company does more than videography, so we had to cover some different things.  Mine is only $300/year (in Salt Lake City).  That covers liability (on/off site), my equipment up to $10K, and covers my office (800 sq. ft.).  Plus, they don't charge any additional fees to pay monthly instead of annually.
