I'm wanting to join the QR code sign gang and I'm trying to figure out the best way to do it.  I have seen sites like MobiBrix working with Lowensign that have reusable codes but how do you work this out?  Does anyone use these?  Do you just give it to all your clients (first timers included) and hope they use you again?  Do you loan it out?  Rent it out?  Sell it to them?  Anyone that is already doing this I would love to hear from.  Thanks in advance.

G'Day Darin,

I've been using QR codes for my videos here in OZ for several months.

Here is a link to the website I use.

http://delivr.com/qr-code-generator

Just put in your URL and push 'Generate QR Code'

Couldn't be easier and best of all...its free!

Regards

Mark.

that is a good generator especially for a sign where you may need a bigger QR code you can generate the code then choose the SVG image type....open the SVG in a drawing program like Adobe Illustrator or any number of other programs on the iPad, PC or Mac.  You can blow that QR code up to the size then you need without losing the quality you would if using a raster image(jpg etc.).

Another quick and easy way to generate a QR code fast at 500px x 500px as a PNG is http://chart.apis.google.com/chart?cht=qr&chs=500x500&choe=UTF-8&chld=H&chl=http://www.hdhat.com  just simply change the URL at the end of that string to whatever URL you choose and load in your browser and save the resulting image from Google Charts.

I use

http://www.mobilefish.com/services/qrcode/qrcode.php

Pop up the block size to 15px and it creates a useable hi res impage for a sign rider.  You can also change the color of the code to match your logo, brochure colors, etc.

Try http://www.StickerScan.com for inexpensive riders, signs, and other QR related "stuff".
