Definitely post to Youtube (one of my partners always says: "If it's not on Youtube, it doesn't exist.").  Post the video itself  on other video sites as well like WellcomeMat (of course)... also sites like Metacafe and Dailymotion seem to get pretty good results in search engines.  There are many others... I'd recommend using a distribution service like TubeMogul or Traffic Geyser.  That will get the videos out quicker and you won't spend an hour (and that's on a high-speed cable line) distributing everywhere.

Also, many cities and states have local video sites.  2 examples in Utah are UtahBizTube.com and NetworkingInUtah.com (is more of a networking site, but has videos as well).  You can find sites like that in California as well, and then you have a better chance of reaching locals as well.  I also do a blog for each listing.

Best kept secret in the RE industry: Postlets.com!  It still amazes me how many agents haven't heard of it yet!  Postlets distributes your listing all over the place (and through Oodle via Postlets, you get over 200 sites).  Between the blog, the video distribution, your website, Postlets, etc., you'll dominate search results for both the address and the MLS #.  That is a key point: if you 'own' your listing in search results, you have a better chance of bringing in a buyer yourself (and getting the full commission), than other agents who only use their IDX feeds for SEO.

BTW... correctly engineering an IDX feed to dominate search engines will get you a lot of leads over time... I don't know how to do it, but it's a great way to market other agents' listings!

One more amazing source: Google Base!  Google Base will get your listings to show up in Google Maps searches, and that is a powerful tool as well.  Many people have started using Google Maps when searching for local businesses, and real estate is no different.  Another reason to do this is to make sure that Google Base search results include your branding, and not some other agent!  As an agent, it is becoming increasingly important to 'own your market' in the search engines as well.  Get your branding out there (as well as your listings). :)

Anyone have any news how to submit a video/listing to Google Base?

This is about Google Base/getting listings to show up on Google Maps linking back to your site (through Google Base):

You use a data feed or the Google Base API to load real estate listings.  I believe you can also do it manually... though I've never tried it.  I think there is something on that at the link above.
