Whats our encoder / camera settings?
I have been having trouble with my video quality. I use a Canon Vixia HSF20 camcorder, full HD, the whole nine. I am shooting in MXP mode, and all my videos you see now were with 60i, unknowingly of course, i have switched it to 24p, so we will see if there is a difference.
My problem lies with movement, panning and walking with stedicam, deosnt matter, my raw video on the desktop is real bad, it becomes better when uploaded to video sites.
H.264, I choose HDTV 720p, due to saving 800mb in space and time to compress....(using Premiere Pro), so....
H.264, 720p HDTV, 1 Pass, plus my camera.....my videos are all choppy, shuttery, looks like a robot video, one individual second at a time it seems, instead of just smooooooooooth walking.
Ive seen other real estate videographers using camcorders comparable to mine, some better, some worse, its not as if you need a $5000 camera to shoot smooth video, im sure it helps, but what is the issue here? Any ideas?
Thanks
My raw video is beautiful. But after I encode, it is jittery and choppy with the moevement.....uggh, whats the issue here? I want my encode to look the same as the raw video!
