This is a video of our Library at Sun City Palm Desert (SCPD). Our library is a first rate complete and beautiful library, with seating around a fireplace for a lazy afternoon. In addition to having just about every novel, be it mystery, historical fiction, adventure, autobiography, biography or good old romance, we have the latest magazines and periodicles. (more)
We also have a full supply of books on tapes and cd's and hundreds of movies. This is a free lending library and is lovingly kept current by no less than 30 volunteers. This is just one more free thing that all SCPD residents can use for their extremely low association dues. And don't forget the 2 regulation golf courses, 3 restaurants, 2 fitness centers, 3 full club houses and more. We are a gated golf and tennis community with just under 5,000 homes and about 9,000 active adults in the heart of the beautiful Coachella Valley. We are minutes away from Palm Springs, the San Bernardino Mountains for skiing, and a couple of hours to the finest beaches. We are situated between Los Angeles and San Diego.
