Wright Family Park in Bluffton, SC The dock at the end of Calhoun Street, and adjacent to the Church of the Cross, has long been a popular spot for locals and visitors to enjoy the beautiful sights of the May River. Now there are even more ways to enjoy the scenery, the new Wright Family Park, with a larger dock, bulkhead, and passive park with restrooms, walkways, and benches along the shoreline complete and open to the public.
The property which was in the Wright family for decades was purchased by the Town of Bluffton in 2017. It's now lit with Christmas lights for the holidays.
Lowcountry Celebration Park on Hilton Head Island The day has finally come, residents and guests can now enjoy the Lowcountry Celebration Park on the south end of Hilton Head Island.
The Lowcountry Celebration Park includes a large lawn and stage to accommodate festivals, concerts, and other gatherings; a destination playground with an iconic ship playground; the Sandbox Children's Museum; walking trails and boardwalks; exercise stations; additional parking and; improved access to Beach Parking. The park is located between the Circle Center Shopping Center and the Beach Parking lot at the end of Pope Avenue.
