Chastain Memorial Park is the largest city park in Atlanta, spanning 268 acres. The park includes an amphitheater with a seating capacity of 6,900, walking trails, playgrounds, a golf course, a swimming pool, tennis courts, a horse park as well as the historic eatery, Horseradish Grill. Chastain Park’s amenities are within walking distance of many homes and also include an arts center, three schools and a basketball gymnasium. The Buckhead neighborhood is comprised mainly of single-family homes, some of which date back to the 1940s. However, most of the original development occurred in the early 1950s through the 1960s. As a result, there are midcentury-modern homes as well as ranches, on large, wooded lots spanning over a half-acre.
