Great Video Tool: A WRENCH (staying mls compliant)

For those of you videographers new to real estate...offering an un-branded video is vital to agents who want to upload your video to their local mls and to realtor.com.

One of the compliance issues we have here in the Twin Cites (MN) is making sure to avoid photographing the real estate sign that is out in the front yard. Not doing so would be considered solicitation and a violation of broker reciprocity rules (AND a big fine to the broker...and probably the last time the agent uses you for videos).

So what do you do if you're filming a home with a sign already in the yard. You can edit it out (easy enough for still photos and virual tours)...or you can bring a wrench and remove the sign temporarily for your shoot.

Take a look at Fred Light's video (House for Sale 3 Inca Drive)...you'll notice that the sign is down on the ground...unreadable.

So add another tool to your video toolkit...a wrench!
Save time.
Save money.
